May 13th

A tulip popped up in the middle of the Daffodils.

The African Violets are taking over huge chunks of the lawn.

I am not sure what these little guys are, but they are covering most of the back yard lawn.  I feel bad mowing the grass, but they are low enough for the mower to leave them uncut.

The Lilly of the Valley patch is about ready to flower.  The old maple in the center of this patch fell victim to a storm last year and the Lillies sure seem to love the extra nutrients.

A couple of these strangers showed up in the garden patch where Lupins grew last year.
